One of the primary reasons I married my husband was that his love of music duplicated mine. Even though, as a music teacher, I can find room for improvement in his piano technique, I can not fault him one iota for the emotionalism he brings to the piano music. This emotionalism is best showcased when he sits and plays his own compositions or Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. I tried to capture in this painting the closeness I feel to him when he "plays for me".
