"Summer" God must have used a heavenly paintbrush making these Rubeckia flowers, the tenors in my flower choir. The masses of yellow swarming my summer gardens make my husband complain. Too much yellow, he'll say. Perhaps I should use the petals to make dyes and paints, just like God, except backwards. Meanwhile, I keep dividing them and sometimes they have to sing alone in a new garden.
