"Rhody Blossom"

I didn't realize that Rhodies were so intricate until I tried to paint this one.
Much more varied than a Daisy or a Pansy.
Probably much more like an orchid, I think.
What I like most about Rhodies is that they come back every spring.
They have been faithful to my yard for nearly eighty years.
And all we have to do is love them.
