Pink is my favorite color. I once had a friend who painted the entire inside of her house pink, including the insides of closets. Look around and you couldn't possibly count the amazing variety of flower patterns and fabrics. She also grew only pink flowers in her gardens. Even I, the previously most pink person I knew, thought it was a bit much. But she didn't have any Lupines.

Lupines, I drink a toast to you,
wishing you to ever thrive in my gardens.
Wishing you enough blossoms to fill my house.
That will be a fitting tribute to my friend.
