I think three-leaf clovers are especially beautiful up close. See those touches of gold? Somehow this year I have painted many up-close and personal views of flowers and plants.

My mother used to paint one-inch evergreen leaves and enjoy their every change of color and form. Since she recently passed away, I have been wearing some of her clothes and thinking a lot about her. I feel closer to Mom while I'm discovering more of God's artistry.
