Nova Scotia has three special memories for me. To start with, Nova Scotia is where I spent my first "trip-with-the-purpose-to-paint" and, secondly, where I fell in love with the flowers called Lupines.
The island was more beautiful and the cliff drop-offs much more awesome than I had imagined.
For my husband, this was a "get-away-and-read-vacation". So, I painted this scene while he read, sometimes in the car and sometimes next to me on a portable chair.
Thirdly, Nova Scotia is the place where I secretly turned 50 and openly fell more deeply in love with my husband.
Happy music and art, Cinder LeDell
