"Lotus Leaves"

Lotus leaves can be found all over China. Because they are so numerous, one can become almost oblivious to their simple beauty. I felt that these simple plants were being ignored by almost everyone and thus should be enshrined in a painting. These plants have a certain nobility that lends itself to the brush painting style.
