Creating something with oriental paint and rice paper is
challenging to say the least. First time I tried it, I had too much water
in the brush and my one little dab on the very porous paper quickly spread
into a blob nearly 5" wide. After a while, I figured out how to control
the water. If you look closely at this painting, you'll see a couple places
where I used a nearly dry brush. A little pink poke here, a wet yellow
swirl there, and a lot of fun.
