At one time our castle had a lot of wrought iron railings and decorative runs. While much of it was so badly deteriorated that it had to be torn down, some of it remains and has been restored.

This decorative iron design comes from two massive wrought iron gates that guard our front door. I focused in on just this one part, with the flowers from the front walk in the background as an example of the beauty that can be found in everything around us, large and small, if one just looks carefully.
